Frequently asked questions about agricultural technology

Clear answers on the implementation of sensors, drones and data analysis in large-scale fields.

01

What type of soil sensors does Fullrsfarm offer?

We work with IoT sensors that measure humidity, temperature, electrical conductivity and nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium). Each unit is installed at a depth of 20 cm and transmits data every 15 minutes to the central platform, even in areas without cellular coverage thanks to the integrated mesh network.

02

Do the drones require a licensed pilot?

Yes, to operate agricultural drones over 25 kg, a pilot with ANAC certification is required. Fullrsfarm includes basic training for the ranch staff and offers mapping services with certified operators if the client prefers.

03

How is sensor data integrated with the existing irrigation system?

The Fullrsfarm platform connects to drip irrigation and center pivot controllers via Modbus or RS485 modules. It sends valve open/close commands based on humidity thresholds defined by the agronomist. Integration is tested in the field before going into production.

04

How accurate are the multispectral maps from the drones?

Fullrsfarm drones generate orthomosaics with a resolution of 5 cm per pixel at a height of 120 m. The spectral bands (red, green, blue, red-edge, near-infrared) allow calculating NDVI, NDRE and other indices with an accuracy of 92% compared to laboratory sampling.

05

How long does it take to install a sensor network in a 300-hectare field?

The complete installation, including sensor anchoring, repeater configuration and platform startup, takes between 5 and 7 business days with two field technicians. A network coverage report and initial calibration of each sensor are delivered.

06

Do you offer technical support for the predictive analysis platform?

Yes, support includes telephone and email assistance during business hours, plus monthly updates of the machine learning model with updated weather data. For corporate clients, there is a plan with a dedicated agronomist engineer and quarterly field visits.
